ABOUT
Knicole, born in San Diego, CA, currently residing in Downtown Los Angeles, CA is a veteran and ambassador of both community and entertainment industry. She knew at an early age that the stage was the place where she wanted to spend her life. Her dream was to be a versatile performer, encompassing all facets of the industry: dancer, singer/song writer, artistic director, choreographer, teacher, producer, model, and actress. Spending years on a plethora of stages, she was able to focus in on her talents and business skills. Her versatility and experience have rendered her one of the most respected and sought-after performers in the business. As a young adult, she performed in and choreographed many plays, musicals, and dance projects. She has been relentlessly pursuing big dreams, knowing her purpose in life is to make people feel and connect to the positive nostalgia and theatrics of the entertainment industry.
Attending Fullerton College, Knicole studied under Gary Krinke in the theater dept, John Tebay in the music department, and Erin Landry in the dance department. It was here that she broadened her experience performing with live bands and expanded her dance vocabulary in several other dance genres. During this time, Knicole had become interested in taking more of a part in the dance community. She danced on several crews such as Team Millennia, Mavyn Entertainment, Essence, Kallusive, Mischief Makers, and artistically directed Boogiezone Breed. As a director and producer Knicole recently built a show called "The Speakeasy" , combining original choreography with an array of different music and story telling. The show was cabaret/vaudeville inspired, intimately taking place in a 360` interactive manner. The show included dancers, singers, aerialists, pole, tappers, bartenders, and moving set pieces. The show has been a great success, drawing an audience of all ages and captivating the city mayor, council, and Rotary Club of Carson, CA. She's also directed and produced several of Boogiezone's "Dystopia"s, along side Elm Pizarro, Mike Pinedo, and Joey Cooper, an annual interactive Halloween Horror show. Knicole has also had the opportunity to shadow director Victor Gonzalez on Last Man Standing, a comedy sitcom.
Presently, Knicole has worked with numerous musical legends, including Lady Gaga, Chris Brown, Prince, Usher, Ariana Grande, Mary J. Blige, Mariah Carey, Red Hot Chili Peppers, Nicki Minaj, Timbaland, Ciara, Boa, Jason Derulo, Keri Hilson, and many more. She has had the phenomenal opportunity to be a full-time dancer for several world tours, featured in music videos, commercials for Pioneer, Sprite, Nintendo Wii/XBox, and WOD (World of Dance). TV and award show credits include Penny Dreadful, The Masked Singer, BET Awards, Teen Choice Awards, the American Music Awards, The Latin Grammys, MTV Video Music Awards, Miss Universe, GLEE, The Muppets, Saturday Night Live, Ray Donovan, Hot in Cleveland, The Drop, and Dancing With The Stars. Being extremely grateful for the opportunity to perform with such pivotal artists, Knicole is back in LA working on her own projects in dance and music, and is pursuing her solo career. Knicole also creates and helps with artist development for other artists as well. You can see some of her work with these artists: DW (David Wachs), Trent Dupri, Dre Hustle, Nekiya Ade, Lola Fair & Baby J, KnS.
A traveler as well, she has taught and performed all over the world. Her regular classes can be experienced at Edge Performing Arts Center, Downtown Dance & Movement, and Boogiezone Utopia. Knicole has truly continued to take her career to the next level and has hoped to inspire others to do the same. Reaching forward and giving back is her continuous motive while pursuing her dreams and passions. Times of struggle and hardships have been no stranger and also no barricade for this woman. A risk taker, a pioneer and an adventurist...love is at the center of it all. She's grateful for the amazingly loving people in her life that have helped her get to where she is today. She hopes to one day open a school dedicated to artistic and creative learning and is currently and all-the-while working on projects in the music industry.
